Long walks, (esp. hiking in the mountains) family, friends, reading amazing books, art, tennis, music, cooking, movies. I like healthy food and fitness; I also love "unhealthy" food like ice cream... :) One book I've enjoyed in the last few years is Doing Things Right in Matters of the Heart by John Ensor. It is a very worthwhile and engaging read. When it comes to movies, I love BBC versions of Dickens' classics, or Jane Austen, Jeeves and Wooster, To End All Wars... I have a Youtube channel. It can be viewed at http://www.youtube.com/user/clementia1. |

| I would like to have children one day. | |
| That is a bit of a hard question for me to answer, but I believe that God has been working on me for years now. Assurance is a struggle of mine, but I continually seek to trust Him and walk with Him. | |
| The doctrines of grace have helped me to see the enormity and guilt of my sin before God, which also shows how sweet His grace is. | |
| Yes, I seek to read in God's Word daily, and I have been reading in Judges, Proverbs, Jeremiah, and Luke, along with other passages. I occasionally read a little in Spurgeon's Morning and Evening as well, and I am trying to work through at least one other book right now... | |
Knowing, belonging to, and walking with Christ, family, friends, good movies, good books, creative projects, whether on a computer or by hand, walks, cooking. This is not an exact order, and I think my interest sections show a broader list. I am also passionate about homeschooling. I was homeschooled for all of my education and loved it. I am really grateful to my mother for laying down her life to spend the last 18 years or so educating me and my siblings. I could talk for quite a bit about homeschooling! I loved the experience of being homeschooled so much that I naturally think it would be fun and neat to homeschool; it is my desire to homeschool the children I hope to have one day. I think that it is the very RARE parent who can teach, train, and mentor their children in a consistent and Biblical pattern while sending them off to be educated by others during the best part of the day in a private or public setting. I believe that in many or most cases, it is in essence an abdication of parental responsibility. (see Deut. 6:7, 11:19) And I believe that it is a special joy to teach your own children and seek to develop a close relationship with them. |

| God's mercy, my family, my friends. | |
| I love to see humility, love, and a servant's heart in other people. I love it when people can be both serious and really enjoy good humor. (not necessarily at the same time) The last sentence I relate to because I am serious and thoughtful but really love to laugh. With my family especially, we can be very silly together. We like to see the humor in many situations. Or is that "humour"? :) I once was kicked out of a spelling bee for spelling "vapour" instead of "vapor". Happily, they did check the rules and reinstated me. | |
| I'm not sure on this one, but I know that John Piper and Spurgeon have been wonderful helps to me. I love how they respectively teach on taking joy in God and the grace of God. | |
| During a recent brief courtship, we discovered too many differences for marriage; it ended well. | |
"I wonder if he's using the same wind we're using?" - Inigo Montoya "Princess Bride" (It's a great day for) "pushing cheeky, young blighters off bridges." - Wooster (to see the context, see the British TV series "Jeeves and Wooster".) "Out of the depths I cry to you, O LORD; O LORD hear my voice. Let your ears be attentive to the voice of my pleas for mercy. If you, O LORD, should mark iniquity, O LORD, who could stand? But with you is forgiveness, that you may be feared. I wait for the LORD, my soul waits; and in his word I hope. I wait for the LORD more than watchmen for the morning, more than watchmen for the morning. O Israel, hope in the LORD, for with the LORD is steadfast love, and with him is plentiful redemption. And he will redeem Israel from all his iniquities." ~Psalm 130

I am currently working again for the peak season at the same transportation logistics company I mentioned below. It sure is fun to work a seasonal job, then not work, then work another seasonal job! The last couple of years I worked full-time at a small transportation logistics company doing paperwork, carrier approval, and random projects. During their peak Christmas season, I did a lot of phones and data entry, talking with drivers and so forth. Last summer I decided to leave that job to go work for the summer in CO at a guest dude ranch. I had worked there a few summers before, but this time one of my sisters also worked there with me. I held the position there as one of the cooks. I really enjoyed both jobs overall. They were totally different, but they were both very interesting to me. I've worked a couple of other jobs as well. |

1. Homemaker and also to nurture and homeschool any future children. 2. Travel to Scotland, Europe, New Zealand, and any neat, out-of-the way places. I'm not terribly wild about going to all of the places the whole world is crazy about visiting. (i.e. Hawaii, Florida, Las Vegas) 3. Walking closely with Christ. 4. Figure out what I should do when I grow up. :) 5. Continue with music, art, walking, and tennis. Note: I hope to develop others, and this list is not an exact order. |

| I was born in Oklahoma, and I have since lived in North Dakota, Kansas, South Carolina, Oregon, Montana, and finally here in Missouri. (no, my dad is not in the military) The only parts of the country that I have not visited at all are the Northeast and the Southwest. I barely visited Saskatchewan when we lived in Montana, so unfortunately that is the only non-U.S. soil I have trodden upon so far. | |
I would be sorry to live far from my family, but with three other siblings and with our mobile society I realize that living near them may not always be possible. So I guess I'm open to relocating, depending on the place and circumstances. |

I am a part of a reformed Baptist-type church. I also have a high regard for Sovereign Grace ministries. Also, I want my dad to be involved in any serious relationship building. And finally, in case you're wondering, there IS another girl on this site that resembles me. We are sisters. We are VERY close. So close that she was born one minute before me. The End. |
