Continually growing.

Humble - I am humbled by the thought that Father did not have to choose me. That completely by HIS will, HIS desire HE chose me to be HIS child.

Free - I am not in control of who and who is not a child of the Most High God - that is a freeing lifestyle. I am called to speak HIS words and to model HIS kingdom in my ambassadorship this side of Glory. The fact that I am not responsible for helping/making anyone choose Jesus Christ is a very liberating thought. I no longer expect someone to see or hear the truth and choose Him.

Father has blessed me with a desire to spend the first fruits of my day with Him.

Currently I am on my 11th year of reading through the Bible - the last 4 years have been chronologically. I am humbled each year as I read and 'see' passages that I did not 'see' in previous years.

My son and I are currently reading and doing a word study through Proverbs - we are on Chapter 8 (ah new beginnings!), daily we read the chapter, then look up the words in Hebrew for the verse of the day. We have done this with several books. It is amazing to slow down and read/define the words and savor the full flavor of the passage.

Working on the homework/review for the 1st Peter Study.

Ruth - because there is that desire to have a kinsman redeemer in my life and Ruth was a perfect example of waiting on the Lord, desiring to please Him and continuing with her life/ministry.

I am enjoying the journey with Father in learning daily how to depend on HIM as the ultimate fulfilment of my needs and desires.

Seeking HIS will in this matter has been a great growth area for me and I am anticipating even more growth as I go forward.

Word - The Word of God is my 1^st passion...I desire to know HIM more intimately by spending time in HIS word, daily. I enjoy studying inductively and am still learning and growing in this area. The New Testament Greek (is not quite Greek to me now - or at least not as much) is being opened up more as I learn the nuances of voice, mood, tense. Studying this way can clarify what Father is speaking forth. Ask me the 4 class conditions of IF.

The Old Testament - specifically in this season - I am in Proverbs (what better book to study with a young man?) and am still trying to grasp the intricacies of the Hebrew. Now which book was partially written in Aramaic?

Bride - As I grow and learn, I have a desire that the Bride would be preparing for our coming Groom. My heart is saddened by the lukewarmness of HIS people and a lack of diligence to study the Word. I am called to challenge the Bride to prepare herself, but specifically am drawn to encourage my sisters in the Lord (young and old) to dig into the Word.

Nation - As God’s ambassador on this side of glory, this is not my home; however, HE has called me to give a proper estimate of who HE is to the nation which HE placed me. Which sometimes, especially as the political climate heats up, calls me to challenge those who are apathetic and uninvolved. We, are by God’s grace, allowed to live in a nation which our forefathers fought, bled and died to secure and protect our divine liberties. We owe no less to stand up and proclaim and/or protect for those who will come after us.

Honesty, dependability, humor, faithfulness, teachable spirit, zest for studying the Word, love, compassion.

Brethren who are devoted to doctrine, who have a passion for falling deeper in love with our Lord and Saviour, Christ Jesus and want to encourage the Bride to a deeper passion for her Master.

Seeking friends who will encourage me to a closer, more intimate fellowship with our Lord and Saviour. Those who desire to exhort and encourage. Friends who invite the same examination in their lives, who are not afraid of change or challenge. Who show forth a love for the brethren.

Cindy - a teacher for our women's Bible Study - we are currently in 1 Peter, verse 5 and on Lesson #156. Inductive study which challenges and motivates me to desire to fall deeper in love with my Lord daily. She is a walking, talking example of persevering in and through trials - while giving God glory.

Kendra - DIL to Cindy - 1st teacher I sat under for an inductive study which was fantastic - also enduring great trials, tribulations and testings and giving God glory in and through them.

Eleanor - This amazing lady of 90+ has lamented for being born again late in life (40's) yet has used her time since then to glorify the Lord in hospitality and a feverent desire to know Him more deeply. If I get to be 90 I want to have that same level of passion, that thirst and hunger for learning about our Father that she exhibits.

Ex's desire to live in and with the world - forsaking marriage vows, family to seek own ways.

What have I learned?

How much Father loves and cares for HIS children. Though trials, tribulations and testings may beset us, HE never allows anything in our lives which is not meant to purify us and glorify HIMSELF.

He has, as a Heavenly Husband, been faithful and diligent to ensure that I have everything I need and that HIS grace is sufficient for every situation and circumstance. He has worked a lot of dross and pride out of my life and drawn me ever closer to HIM.

Bookkeeping - 10 years - enjoyable as I am self employed thus my schedule is flexible.

I am very appreciative of this flexibility and give Father all the glory for allowing me to remain self-employed in a tough economy and still maintain a schedule which allows me to spend time with HIM daily.

Ouside of hearing Father say, "Well done, thou good and faithful servant."?

Seeing and knowing that my children and their children are following the Lord is a great desire. If they and their spouses raise up and call me blessed, I will know that I have run that portion of my race with endurance.

To become as self-sufficient as possible. Eventually I would like to have a home that is off the grid and provide as much on-site as possible.

Gardening - Second year of gardening - this year was more productive. Lots to learn! It is relaxing and nutritious. Third year...slow going this year...still learning though! Uggghhh - This year has been a total BUST! Perhaps a fall garden? Hmmm...now where did I put that tiller?

Bread/Grains - a friend got me into making my own bread - from scratch...fresh milled and baked. Oh so yummy! Plus it makes the house smell good too!

Organic/raw foods - natural herbs - learning about these.

...but since I relocated from Indiana to Florida (ask me how I ended up here) I am open to where Father may direct me.
