I'm a professional musician (I've been playing the violin for 17 years). Music has always been a part of my life and serving God in this capacity. I do a lot of gigs from church and have been blessed to be part of different bands, music travel, weddings, memorials, conferences, fundraising concerts, and studio recording. |

I was 12 years old when I accepted Jesus Christ as my savior. It was at a christian retreat and it marked the beginning of my journey of my walk with God on the road to sanctification. I have a testimony that I can only boast about and credit to as God's grace and mercy in my life, nothing of my own doing, which I would love to share in person. My relationship with Jesus defines who I am. I am not just a church attendee. I take my relationship with Christ very seriously by growing closer to Him through trials, theological reading, prayer, seeking opportunities to serve Him and the body of Christ, and seeking mentoring relationships. I also try to preach the gospel at every opportuniy (at work / family / etc) and try to lead a life that shows His glory in my life (hence, my username). I believe that everything about me is about Him. I was created by Him, for HIS glory and not mine, I cannot credit anything to my own doing, but it's ALL His. |

I was introduced to the doctrines of Grace by attending a new church (last 3.5 years), however, I have always been curious about calvinistic theology and predestination. It was very easy to accept the doctrines of Grace since I had been searching for spiritual truth a long time. My decision to become an active follower of Christ is realizing that I have been born-again, that I am not of this world and nor do I belong to it. I have put behind me my old ways and I seek to glorify Him in all that I do. I realize that I am a sinner and I am in need of His grace everyday. I cannot live without Him, because He has changed me completely and my identity rests fully in Him. I believe in the sovereignty of God and I am blown away by His grace. I also continue to be sanctified daily by His Word, as I grow to become more like Him. I also believe in the inherency of Scripture, that the Bible continues to be applicable and is authoritative in our lives today. |

I do have a "Quiet Time" and I am currently studying 2 Corinthians / Judges / Proverbs and I like reading John MacArthur's Commentary which gives me a deeper understanding of scipture. Along with my daily reading, I like to read C. H.purgeon's Morning & Evening Devotional (this has been great!). If I am stuck on a theological concept, I like to go to the Systematic Theology book by Wayne Grudem. Some of my favorite pastors/ authors are: John MacArthur, R.C. Sproul, Albert Mohler, Alistair Begg, Mike Fabarez, John Piper, C.J. Maheny, Steve Lawson, Wayne Grudem, Joshua Harris, Jerry Bridges, Ed Welsh, Josh McDowell, David Powilson, Tedd Tripp, Elisabeth Elliott, Elyse Flitzpatrick, & Spurgeon. Favorite books: Boy Meets Girl - Joshua Harris, Heaven- Randy Alcorn, Respectable Sins - Jerry Bridges, Trusting God - Jerry Bridges, When Grace Comes Home - Terry Johnson, Instruments in the Redeemer's Hands - Paul David Tripp, Forgiveness - John MacArthur, and a bunch of others. I have a library overflowing with books which I still haven't read yet! I also enjoy reading articles on Boundless.org. |

I am content in my identity in Christ and the life experiences the Lord brought into my life thus far. I woudln't be as grounded as I am now on the foundations of Grace, if I had met someone sooner, so I am really thankful for a deeper understanding of doctrinal theology. However, I really desire to be married and that's why I'm here. |

Conscientious, loving, thoughtful, and adventerous. |

I am most passionate about God and glorifying Him in everything I do. It really bothers me when I know I am walking in disobedience, or when I have offended God, because I know we are made to live our lives to the fullest as Christians, and I can't experience true joy and contentment when I lead a life void of His blessing. |
|
I am most thankful for being saved by God's grace and having a deeper understanding of Grace. I am also thankful for a loving family that have raised me with strong morals, have been supportive, and loved me sacrificially. And, I'm also thankful for the blessings the Lord has brought into my life: a great church, roommates, job, and an awesome music ministry. |

I am looking for someone who loves the Lord passionately and seeks to please Him first (has a solid relationship and wants to grow). A man who is passionate about God and learning more about Him. It's also important to me that a man is mature in his decision-making, able to lead, respectable, and able to provide for a family (e.g. settle down). As for myself, I'm very laid-back, but can be serious, depending on the situation. I like being around people, having fun, laughing and sometimes being goofy, but there are also times when I like to be alone to unwind, watch a movie, or even read a book. I like being transparent and honest. I act like a lady in the way I carry myself (love to dress up), but also know how to be fun and laid-back. I'm really passionate about life and learning new things (e.g. by reading, learning a new skill or hobby, etc..). |
|
I have learned that open communication, truthfulness, and a strong relationship with the Lord are really the most important qualities. I'd rather speak about my personal relationships in person, but my past relationship ended because it lacked one or more of the qualities above. |

I assist researchers in a non-profit organization and wear different hats at work. I work as a Quality Assurance Coordinator and Administrative Assistant. I feel blessed to have a stable job in a crumbling economy, but I don't consider my current job as my dream job. Nevertheless, I am a part-time (freelance) musician and do that after work on weeknights and weekends. |
|
One of my life-long goals is to be a wife and a mother! I have so much love to give (and in creative ways). I also love cooking healthy food, managing a home, love children, making someone else happy, and enjoying the rest of my life with a best friend! Another goal is perfecting my musicianship and hopefully, becoming a freelance musician. |

Activities I enjoy doing are: horseback riding, white water rafting, sight-seeing, traveling, skydiving, hiking, swimming, cycling, trying new things, social networking, reading up on technology, reading, cooking, and camping. |

Re: My " view on drinking is": I mostly drink wine, but on special occasions. I rarely drink alochol. I am open to long-distance relationships. Also, regardless of whether I meet someone locally or further away, if there's a potential, I think it's important to meet in real-time soon enough to decide whether or not to move forward. |
