I certainly try to be content, but I must confess, I have a deep rooted desire to be married. Lets face it, if any of us were truly and wholly content, we wouldn't be here on this site. : )

Usually while answering these types of questions I tend to get myself into trouble. Sometimes I am way too brutally honest and it may turn people off. However, unlike most men (and presumably many woman), I do not wear a mask. What you see is what you get! People are far too phony while they hide their true life/personality in an attempt to con people into liking them. If my honesty scares you or puts you off….sorry, but thats me! : )

Women always say that honesty and transparency are the most important traits they are looking for in a man. We'll see! ; P

First and foremost, I am a sinner saved by grace. Please note the word "sinner." Thats what I am. This does not mean that I approve of sin or that I'm some kind of antinomian, or that I'm even careless about my lifestyle, but what it does mean is that any woman who has too high of expectations (usually due to chick flicks), shouldn't bother with me. Spiritual snobbery is not a trait I look for in a woman. I have flaws; you have flaws and we are likely to bring an equal amount of baggage into a relationship. Lets grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ together without having unrealistic expectations.

I tend to be drawn to women who are outgoing and have "bubbly" personalities. This does not mean I am oppose to shy and quite types. It would be nice to have a woman who has a sense of humor as this goes a long way with me.

Any woman who would like to be involved with me also needs to have a passion for loving Christ with all their MIND. This means a desire to study theology and to use that in the proclamation and defense of the gospel. Not looking for a woman who's passion can only be found in her tears as she listens to 'Amazing Grace.' IOW, I don't want to have to explain "justification" to her; she better already know what that means!

Since I am not a tall or large man; neither am I looking for a tall or large woman. This isn't an attempt to belittle any other body types (be honest, you have your particulars too!), I just want to be the bigger of the 2 in the relationship. Its just a "man thing."

Outside of knowing Christ, the most important thing I am looking for in a woman is HONESTY and TRUSTWORTHINESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you have a problem with lying, secrecy or deceit, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!!!!!!!
