The Lord has given me giftings in music, so I love singing, playing (piano/keyboard, by ear), even composing. I also love to travel, seeing the beauties of nature and hiking (especially) mountains. There are few things that I enjoy more than a twilight walk with Him.

Left to right in the photo, myself, my 5 from youngest to eldest (Michel, Rachel, [bride] Hannah, Matthew, Stephanie), and my mother. While you're reading this, please with me ask the Lord that if it please Him that He will have mercy upon Michel, Matthew, and (especially) Stephanie - they do not know Him, Michel and Matthew ignorantly, but Stephanie very willfully so that I greatly fear for her. Thank you if you'll do that.
If I in fact know the day, it was 10/08/72 (I was 16). I am very thankful I am not the person now that I was then, for the Lord has been very merciful to me. He is very Kind and Gracious, .. and forgiving.
Without knowing the Lord's Sovereignty (which I didn't know of until 1989), my arrogance would be much worse, my assurance would be much less, and my life would be much less holy and Godly.
My quiet time(s) consist of devotionals and scripture, preceded by prayer.
My favorite Biblical character is the Lord Jesus, for all the things I love and esteem in all of the others I see in perfection in Him.
Yes, and No. Yes, because it is His place for me at this point; and, No, because I do not have the gift of singleness. I don't want to enter into presumption thinking I can be something I can't, but will "suffer" (and it is a trial) as long as He wills it (up to, and including, the rest of my days, if need be).
Boy, I'd have to say this is a guess .. dependable, faithful, trustworthy, loyal .. ?
To be honest, it would have to be that which most occupies my thought and affections. The Lord, the things I am given to do for Him, and family. But, this can be a real struggle ..
Salvation, for I'm lost without it Grace, for I can do nothing without it brethren, for I'll fail without them
When I see another who has a love for the Lord, this encourages me. When I see them looking only to Him as the fires of trial heat up, this strengthens me. When I see them praising Him and holding fast to Him on the bed which they'll never get up from, this moves and inspires me. I only hope I will thus love Him ..
My 1st Sovereign Grace pastor, for in him for the first time I found someone I really wanted to follow ..
From my (innocent, though not without fault) side, too high a view of the man's place, and too much expectation of her. The real root of failure was lack of commitment and communication, ending in abandonment after refusals to reason or counsel. Maybe the main thing I hope I've learned is to not expect too much from a spouse (by that, I mean beyond what is normal and right, for that seems a weakness to me) ..

Industrial Engineering, specializing in Excel applications to cost and schedule, in the course of 26 years. It is analytical type work, which suits my skills very well.
Not really, I've done and seen about all there is to do on this earth. Since my children were taken from me, I would really like to raise at least one of my own children .. but that is entirely up to Him ..
I enjoy landscaping the yard and hiking mountains, and am known for love of driving, particularly to see the beauties of nature or be with family
North Dakota, and have been to all 50 states (most more than once), as well as Europe and Asia ..
5th of 9 children, raised on the farm. Have 5 of my own. Re-location would be OK ..
I hold a weekly Sunday AM service at the local rest home, which I enjoy very much ..

The things said may come across as being spiritual, or as if I've got things together; but my Christian life is a struggle, and sometimes a desperate one. I am so thankful He has kept me. He is a Wonderful Saviour ..
