John Calvin puts forward a very simple reason why love is the greatest gift: “Because faith and hope are our own: love is diffused among others.” In other words, faith and hope benefit the possessor, but love always benefits another. In John 13:34–35 Jesus says, “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” Love always requires an “other” as an object; love cannot remain within itself, and that is part of what makes love the greatest gift.

Having Problems Logging In or Resetting Your Password?

We have been receiving a rather large amount of emails through our contact us page from people that cannot login because they can't remember their password. Resetting the password results in them not receiving email with the reset link.

This is most likely due to the fact that we changed domains from .org to .com. Our new address is christforums.com and that email address needs be whitelisted in your spam defense. Check your spam box and if you haven't received it then make sure the domain is white listed.

On several occasions after a member has written in I've tried to use more than one email to contact them. All the emails were rejected because people these days are running some pretty strict spam filters.

God bless,

William

Just curious as to why the change?

No technical reason at all. Purely subjective and matter of preference. The Christforums.org domain still works, but it'll point to the .com address.

This seems to be a major issue for some that never write down their passwords. The password reset email for the new domain is going into most people's email spam box.

I keep a password book in a safe location. Just in case something were to happen to me and my wife needs to go into my bank accounts etc. It's just a regular address book that contains the site's url, username, and password.

Yes, maybe it would be wise to write them down.
